**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation and food handling tasks to support the kitchen operations.
**Duties:**
- Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and cutting produce.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in meal preparation.
- Support kitchen staff in cooking, baking, and assembling dishes as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including storage areas and food preparation stations.
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other tools.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Willingness to learn and help out across various tasks within the dietary department.
